Emotion and passion are expressions of human life — and of our hunger for it. They show in our devotion to objects, to motion and to sport, and in the wish to preserve old things, to keep them alive and to let them be used beyond their own time.

There is a social side, too: people of every origin, age and culture coming together around a shared passion. This lust for life is what I try to capture in my photographs.
